WELLFLEET: CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN
12/5/2018 – The reconstruction of the Outer Cape Health Services’ Wellfleet Health Center officially began this week.
When completed for a summer 2019 reopening, the community will be rewarded with a health center that is 50% larger with updated equipment and furnishings. Built in 1966, the Wellfleet Health Center is the oldest standing community health center in Massachusetts—but all that will soon change! The support of the community is vital in our efforts to finance this long-awaited project.
The Wellfleet health center has served generations of residents, and with your help, we will be poised to help others in need for the next 50 years.

ENHANCING SPACES, IMPACTING LIVES RECEIVES HISTORIC GIFT
9/7/2018 – Outer Cape Health Services today announced that Tom and Trish Kennedy of Brewster have pledged a one-million-dollar gift to the Enhancing Spaces, Impacting Lives campaign. The gift is the largest private donation in the organization’s history, and will be applied to a naming opportunity at the new Harwich Port health center.
“The Lower and Outer Cape towns have an urgent need for modern, community-based, full-service healthcare facilities — ‘Medical Home Centers’ for all residents, regardless of ability to pay,” shared Trish Kennedy. “Healthcare has become a political punching bag, while everyone in our community suffers from lack of adequate services. We are proud to support this valiant effort by Outer Cape Health to finally make the Harwich Port facility available to all who call these towns home.”
